Then simply pull the post along with the sterling box-chain through your ear. Sterling silver is safe for most people as it is 92.5% pure silver. Ear threads allow air to circulate through your ear hole which many people find beneficial. No more 'itchy' ear. Ear threads are approximately 3" long, depending on the charm. Wear them equal length on both sides or let more chain dangle on either side of the ear lobe.
