Here is the Convertible set up as a full sized picnic table. The first 3 pictures show the table with the optional extension leaf and end benches for seating 10 - 12 people. When all of these people go home, simply remove the leaf and convert the table to benches or stack them (they fit neatly together). The other pictures show the 2 piece table set, one in the natural cedar outdoor weather stain and the other is unfinished. Each 2 piece table set makes a 5' square when setup as a table or a pair of 60" benches.
See how the table top simply and quickly tilts down to become the bench back? The table top/bench back is held securely in place with a 2 special pins attached permanently to each piece. Converts in seconds. Stack neatly together for easy storage. When setup as 1/2 a table, it becomes easily wheelchair accessible.
The expansion leaf widens your picnic table by an additional 16" to accommodate the end benches or just for an extra wide picnic table for those big potlucks. Guide pins keep the leaf firmly in place. Extension leaf also allows for the umbrella pole to pass through it. Benches are 13" x 60". Table area (2 piece) is 32" x 59". One very common question we get from our customers to be is "How long does the furniture last?" While we can't tell you exactly how long it will last, we can tell you that the Octagon Table pictured above has been outside for the last 5 years! The only care it has had is a yearly washing and a re-application of Cuprinol Natural Weather Finish. Otherwise, it just gets used and used and has many, many more years to go. With minimal care, you'll probably end up leaving it in your will.
