Here's our aft cabin as we work on the rudder and exhaust system under our bed while hauled at Nelson's Boatyard in 2004.

We pulled the access panel to our transom to run some new electrical and radio wiring. The bolts coming through the transom are for our ladder. The roll of old wiring was discovered tucked in over to one side.

Our autopilot, rudder post and main engine exhaust are under our bed. As you can see, we needed to do some work here. We did drop the rudder and re-build a portion of the hull for the rudder post support. Also, we pulled out all the PVC exhaust system along with the PVC ball valve.

To make it easier to get the PVC out from behind the head wall, Ana squeezes into our hanging closet with a saw and cuts the pipe.
